February is Black History Month, and this year’s theme is “African Americans and the Arts”. This theme spans the profound impact that Black Americans have had on visual arts, music, cultural movements, and more. Here at iPub, we’re celebrating the incredible work of one of our authors: Father Moussa Serge Traore!

Father Moussa Serge Traore is a Roman Catholic Priest from Burkina Faso, West Africa. He was raised in a Muslim-Catholic family and is a member of the Society of the Missionaries of Africa, a Catholic Missionary organization dedicated to promoting Muslim-Catholic dialogue. He served as a missionary priest in Rwanda, Mauritania, and Brazil, authored The Truth in Islam According to the Official Teaching of the Catholic Church, and is pursuing doctoral research at the SOAS University of London.
Moussa is the co-author of a soon-to-be-released graphic novel called The Peacemakers, about Pope Francis’s landmark 2021 trip to Iraq and the peacemaking efforts between him and then-Iraqi President Barham Salih. We’re excited to announce that this is iPub Global’s first graphic novel!
